The Hundred Eaves

Overview

Our 'Australian bush chapel', built in 1862, is nestled between Sellicks Hill and coastline of Sellicks beach. Surrounded by rural paddocks and an almond orchard, you can’t help but become absorbed in the country ambience.

The Hundred Eaves is perfectly set up for a unique wedding experience on the Fleurieu Peninsula. We provide a truly Australian country ambience while still being easily accessible from Adelaide for your guests.

We are equipped to host both your wedding ceremony and reception on site which enables you to enjoy your special day, eliminating having to rush around and change venues therefore making for a very relaxing experience.

Our wedding ceremonies are held either in our heritage listed chapel which is non denominational, meaning there is no specific religion attached to it so you can provide your own celebrant, pastor or priest to marry you both - we also have local celebrants that we can recommend to you if you need. Inside the chapel we can accommodate up to 100 guests for a wedding ceremony.

Alternatively outside on the ocean side of the property we have a rustic wedding rotunda where we can accommodate up to 120 guests which has amazing ocean views with a rural coastline outlook.

Following your ceremony you can choose from one of our reception choices if you wish. For those wanting just a glass of champagne, nibbles and cake cutting we offer the ‘mini’ reception, or we offer both ‘seated’ and ‘standup’ functions for those preferring something with a little more substance. ‘The Hundred Eaves’ can be as involved in the setup of your event as you want us to be. We can provide separate quotes for flowers, decorations, musicians etc or they can be organised by yourselves, it’s up to you!
